ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in January 2026 and currently lead a team of seven. While the agency is new, my career with State Farm began in 2004. Prior to agency ownership, I held a variety of roles including Claims, Agency, and Sales Leadership. Those experiences gave me a well-rounded understanding of the business and reinforced my passion for helping customers and developing successful teams.

Im a graduate of Auburn University and earned my MBA from Troy University. My husband is also a State Farm agent, and together we have two daughters, ages 11 and 14. Outside of work, I enjoy home dcor, shopping, and finding the perfect cup of coffee. I stay active in the community through the Valley Chamber of Commerce and by sponsoring a variety of local events throughout the year. Building strong relationships within the community is an important part of our agency's mission.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Beth Slaughter - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
