Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Behavior Specialist and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support student behavioral development in a school setting located in Wetumpka, AL. This role focuses on implementing behavior intervention plans and supporting students with special needs to foster a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to support students social, emotional, and behavioral development.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and assist in developing individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collect and analyze behavior data to inform treatment plans.
- Provide direct one-on-one support to students requiring behavioral interventions.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required.
- Experience working within school environments preferred.
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and ABA principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt interventions based on individual student needs.
