Apply and share your resume with us today!** **Primary Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical and structural assembly of aerospace components per work instructions, blueprints, and engineering drawings. + Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and test equipment to assemble, fit, and install parts and components. + Conduct inspections of in-process and completed assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. + Prepare and apply surface coatings (e.g., primers, sealants, bonding agents) according to engineering documentation and process specifications (preferred). + Fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing setting. + May require standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and wearing PPE. + Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required to meet production schedules. **Basic Qualifications** + High school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of experience in precision assembly and/or aerospace manufacturing assembly. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering documents, and assembly instructions. + Proficient in using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges). + Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination. + Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP/shop floor systems. + Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, as required. + Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance. **Preferred Qualifications** + Associate degree or vocational training in manufacturing, aerospace, or mechanical technology preferred. + Experience in aerospace coatings, including surface prep, masking, application of primers/sealants, or anti-corrosion treatments. + Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001 quality systems, or NADCAP requirements. + Certifications in aerospace manufacturing or coatings (e.g., NACE, SSPC, AWS) a plus. + Prior work in a cleanroom or high-reliability manufacturing environment.
