What It Takes to Win in This Role
Product & Solution Messaging Ownership
- Own and steward clear, consistent messaging for OneAscent's platforms, investment solutions, and giving offerings.
- Ensure narratives are accurate, differentiated, and compelling across all channels.
- Tailor messaging for diverse audiences including advisors, investors, families, and institutions.
- Maintain brand voice and values-aligned positioning throughout all content.
Content Creation & Enablement
- Develop high-quality content that supports advisor recruitment, solution adoption, and client retention.
- Create campaign and evergreen assets including one-pagers, presentations, web copy, email campaigns, and sales enablement materials.
- Tailor content to distinct audience segments while anchoring all messaging to OneAscent's values-aligned positioning.
- Support marketing initiatives across the entire advisor and client journey.
Content Planning, Translation & Continuous Improvement
- Provide structure and clarity to content creation by translating cross-functional expertise into compelling narratives.
- Maintain a product- and campaign-aligned editorial calendar ensuring timely delivery of content.
- Iterate and refine messaging based on engagement metrics, advisor feedback, and market insights.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy while maintaining accessibility.
What You Bring to the Table
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in content creation, copywriting, or marketing communications.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with portfolio demonstrating range and quality.
- Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in content management systems and marketing tools.
- Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services, wealth management, or B2B marketing.
- Knowledge of investment products, financial planning, or charitable giving.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, etc.).
- Understanding of faith-based or values-aligned investing principles.
- Background in creating sales enablement materials.
- Experience collaborating with product, sales, and subject matter expert teams.
