Director of Inspection Services

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Inspection Services to lead and manage our firm’s Construction Engineering and Inspection (CE&I) services . This position is responsible for overseeing all CE&I operations, ensuring projects are delivered with the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance .

The Director will be a strategic leader who can effectively manage inspection teams, build strong client and contractor relationships, and drive operational excellence across all inspection projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop, and manage the firm’s CE&I services and personnel.

• Oversee inspection operations to ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and compliance standards.

• Establish and implement quality control measures and best practices for CE&I services.

• Serve as primary point of contact with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

• Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development to inspection staff.

• Develop business opportunities by fostering and maintaining client relationships.

• Ensure all inspection processes comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.

• 10+ years of progressive experience in construction inspection, CE&I services, or construction management .

• Proven leadership and team management experience.

• Strong knowledge of construction inspection practices, QA/QC standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.

• Results-driven with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
