Alabama Signature Homes is in need of a hardworking full-time construction field assistant! We are looking for somebody with the ability and willingness to learn new skills. Your daily work schedule will include assisting with all areas of construction/remodel work, ensuring the job site is clean, and helping with repairs/maintenance jobs. Job seekers should be team players who always strive for the highest level of quality and have excellent communication skills. Pay will be based on experience. $15 - $20 hourly

• Adhere to all safety guidelines on job site and immediately report any incidents or violations of work rules to supervisor
• Help builders, contractors, project engineers, and construction manager with all aspects of the job and the daily procedures of the project to ensure the project gets completed in a timely manner and you develop your construction skills
• Secure on-site material deliveries, prepare materials for returns, fill out purchase orders, remove debris, and handle waste removal properly
• Document job changes and daily construction work tasks to assist the project manager with paperwork

• Have good physical stamina to climb ladders and climb stairs, work outdoors for long periods of time
• Basic skills construction knowledge (how to use construction equipment and tools) is needed
• Have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• Proven track record of adhering to project schedules, being a team player, regular attendance at work, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
