Behavioral Health LPN BOS Medical Staffing seeks Licensed Practical Nurses for per diem flexible twelve hour PRN shifts in a Columbiana behavioral health facility. You will lead crisis intervention, de escalation and remain versed in emergency procedures while managing medication and security counts. Ideal candidates hold a current unencumbered nursing license with prior psychiatric or crisis experience. This role demands clinical confidence and fosters emotional connections with patients while supporting recovery. BOS Medical Staffing is looking forLPNs to work in a Behavioral Health facility. Shifts will become available soon! Available Hours: PRN hours available! 12hr shifts Responsibilities:
- Assist/lead in crisis intervention and de-escalation using trained techniques and behavioral interventions.
- Count controlled substances, syringes, needles, and sharps at the beginning of each shift with another staff member and sign count logs
- Remain familiar with emergency codes and procedures for behavioral health crises and medical emergencies
- Current, unencumbered nursing license
- At least 1 year of experience preferred
- Previous experience in behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, emergency services, or a crisis setting strongly preferred
