Head of Inclusion - Prep School (FS1-Year5) August 2026
The Head Master seeks to appoint a highly experienced Inclusion professional as Head of Inclusion for the Prep School; a driven and strategic leader and outstanding teacher to inspire and develop the specialist Inclusion provision across the Prep School from FS1 – Year 5.Brighton College Prep School is a dynamic and exciting environment looking for a passionate and strategic leader to inspire and develop the Inclusion team across the Prep School. This is a unique opportunity to join an exceptional and hard-working team who strive to offer a diverse range of challenging and inspiring opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.The successful candidate will bring significant experience of inclusion and SEND provision within a primary or prep school setting, together with a strong understanding of the academic, social, and emotional needs of pupils across the early and preparatory years. They will be an excellent classroom practitioner who leads by example and supports colleagues in delivering high-quality adaptive teaching and inclusive classroom practice.Working closely with teachers, parents, pastoral teams, and external specialists, the Head of Inclusion will oversee the identification, support, and monitoring of pupils requiring additional provision. The role includes leading and developing specialist support staff, promoting best practice across the Prep School, and ensuring that inclusion remains central to the educational experience of every pupil.As a member of the Prep School leadership team, the Head of Inclusion will play an important role in shaping and developing provision in line with the College’s values and strategic vision.Please see the attached Job Description for full details of the required qualifications and responsibilities.
