Position Title: Mid/Senior-Level Business Intelligence Analyst

 

Location: Hybrid - Huntsville, AL

 

Status: Full-time; Exempt

 

Position Description:

 

As a Mid/Senior-Level Business Intelligence Analyst, you will

 

- develop dashboards to deliver actionable insights to customers across many different disciplines,

- collaborate with customers to identify and define the best solutions to meet their data visualization needs,

- develop and maintain data pipelines to perform ETL/ELT operations,

- work with company leadership to determine best paths forward on internal data tools and future work,

- collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to identify data-driven solutions for business problems,

- create and maintain data documentation and reports.

Basic Qualifications:

- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a STEM or STEM-related field.

- 5-15 years of experience in a mix of the following: data analysis, data visualization/dashboard development, data engineering (e.g. pipelines), and operations research.

- Deep understanding of the data life cycle, including the relationship of data engineering and data visualization.

- Experience with SQL or similar data management and manipulation language.

- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

- Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to commute or relocate to the North Alabama area at own expense.

 

Desired Qualifications:

 

- Experience with ETL tools, such as IBM StreamSets.

- Experience with visualization tools, such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau

- Experience working with cloud services, such as Microsoft Azure.

- Experience with data storage solutions (warehouse, lake, etc.) and their structures

- Programming and software development experience.

- Experience applying statistical methods and AI/ML technologies.

- Experience with Missile Defense Agency or other DoD or Federal organizations.

 

Security Requirements:

 

- US Citizenship Required

- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance after start date
