Workers Compensation Underwriting Assistant
M-F 8 am - 5 pm
During the summer, team leaves at 1 pm on Friday's.
Once trained, 4-office days, 1-remote day (Tuesday through Thursday)
Workers Compensation Underwriting Assistant
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process cancellarions
- Send collection letters to insured
- Send accounts to Attorney for collections
- Maintain Spreadsheet on accounts in collections
- Enter Applications in TAM
- Handle Invoices and billing
- Complete feeds spreadsheet for all Midwest accounts
- Upload spreadsheet to Tropics
REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in WC underwriting is a plus
- Analytical & Critical Thinking Skills
- Ability to analyze loss runs and payroll data
- Pattern recognition (frequency vs. severity)
- Basic math and financial reasoning
- Sound judgment when flagging risks for senior underwriters
- Attention to Detail
- Accurate data entry and documentation
