Laser Operator-2nd Shift Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $19.32 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Second Shift ( Monday through Thursday from 05:00pm to 05:00am )

Join our manufacturing team in laser cutting operations. This hands-on role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. You will support material processing from raw loading to final inspection while helping meet production goals. Key Responsibilities Perform laser cutting according to specifications. Load sheet and plate materials onto laser tables using a jib crane and sheet lifter. Set up equipment, including stop locations and laser focal adjustments. Maintain accurate production records using computer systems to track costs, efficiency, and inventory. Remove finished parts from skeleton material and perform deburring as needed. Conduct dimensional inspections to ensure quality standards. Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment. Report defective materials or unsafe conditions to the supervisor. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety procedures.

Laser Operator-2nd Shift Qualifications:

1+ years of experience operating Trumpf, Amada, or similar CNC laser cutting machines Ability to select/set lenses based on material type and thickness; load programs and adjust machine parameters for optimal performance Knowledge of shield gases used in laser cutting operations Strong measurement skills, including fraction/decimal conversions Ability to identify materials such as aluminum, steel, stainless steel, copper, and brass Ability to follow directions and work well with others Demonstrates excellent punctuality and attendance Able to read and interpret standard and metric tape measurements
