Medical Center Enterprise is seeking a physician who specializes in Family Medicine with Obstetrics Fellowship to join the hospital-employed team in Enterprise, Alabama.

Location Description

Medical Center Enterprise is a 131-bed acute care medical facility located in Enterprise, Alabama. Established in 1905, Medical Center Enterprise has continued to grow and change to meet the needs of the citizens of Coffee County and surrounding areas. From our humble beginnings a century ago, the facility has emerged from a one-doctor, 10-bed hospital to our modern medical campus that includes the hospital, three medical office buildings, a medical staff of approximately 50 independent physicians and over 400 team members providing and supporting patient care. A $5.2 million reconstruction project completed in 2006 resulted in the availability of 29 new private patient rooms located on the hospital's 4th floor. Also completed in 2006 was the addition of a state of the art multi-row CAT scanner and 2007 plans include installation of a new GE 1.5 Tesla MRI magnet to further enhance diagnostic imaging services.

Some of the key services offered are: diagnostics, women's services, 24-hour emergency services, general medical/surgical, physical therapy, family/internal medicine, inpatient/outpatient surgery and orthopedics.

Downtown Enterprise houses the Boll Weevil Monument- the only monument is the world to be dedicated to an insect. The beetle had arrived into the city in the early 1900s and destroyed cotton crops, which caused locals to rethink their agricultural plantations. They diversified their crops and created more wealth for the city than ever before, hence the statue.
