Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Nuclear Medicine Physician to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi . Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center. To this day, Jacobi remains a respected leader in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:
- Provide daily Nuclear Medicine clinical coverage, including diagnostic, general, and cardiac imaging, as well as radiopeptide therapies.
- Participate in the teaching and education of Radiology residents.
- Review and modify existing protocols and assist with developing new protocols, as needed.
- Counsel patients and their families regarding radiation safety in preparation for therapy.
- Complete assigned projects that support the Nuclear Medicine service, Radiology Department, and institution.
- No after-hours or weekend call responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM).
- New York State Medical License (or ability to obtain).
- Nuclear Cardiology certification preferred.
- CT interpretation certification is a plus.
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $295,276* (board eligible); $300,276* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.
The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $364,803** (board eligible) and $370,303** (board certified) , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:
- Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
- Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
- Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
- Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you.
- Additional employee-paid Voluntary Life and AD&D coverage is available for you and your family.
- Loan Forgiveness: Position may be eligible for loan forgiveness through certain state or federal programs.
- Medical Malpractice Coverage (equivalent to occurrence-based): Provided at no cost to the employee.
- Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs).
- Pre-tax employee-paid contributions for commuting expenses.
- Visa sponsorship will be considered for this position.
