‍⚕️ Position Overview

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide skilled nursing care under the direction of the Director of Nursing and attending physicians while supervising Certified Nursing Assistants and ensuring residents receive compassionate, high-quality care.

You'll play a key role in helping residents achieve their highest level of independence while working alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assess residents and promptly report changes in condition
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants
• Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, and family members
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility policies
• Respond appropriately to resident needs and emergencies
• Promote a safe, compassionate, resident-centered environment

Qualifications

Required

• Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position

Preferred

• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
