This contract opportunity is perfect for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about serving students with diverse needs in a collaborative, educational environment. The assignment runs from August 7 through June 10, and caseloads will be determined based on district needs and locations.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Professional Educator Certification.
• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited institution.
• ASHA Certification and ABSESPA Licensure (preferred).
• Thorough understanding of federal and state regulations for the education of children with disabilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in cognitive, physical, and psychological assessment tools for the pediatric and adolescent population.
• Ability to interpret legal and regulatory requirements and effectively analyze related data.
• Familiarity with terminology related to physical and learning disabilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to school-aged children as assigned.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assess, diagnose, and support students with diverse learning and communication needs.
• Interpret relevant data and regulations to ensure appropriate service delivery.
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support staff.
