Salary: Starting Salary: $25/hour

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 6:00pm

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Reads and interprets hydraulic schematics and blueprints and hand sketches.
• Locates components in fluid systems and determines method of plumbing.
• Selects pipe and tube size, determine wall thickness, and select fittings and method of attachment.
• Uses hand and power tools and machine equipment as directed. i.e., tube bender, flaring machine, grinders, etc.
• Performs testing of completed units and static testing of components and assemblies.
• Troubleshoots hydraulic components and hydraulic systems.
• Maintains all documents and paperwork pertaining to the job.
• Guides and directs lower-level mechanics work effort when necessary.
• Works effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others; keeping commitments; keeping others informed of work progress, timetables and issues; addressing problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions; addressing others by name, title or other respectful identifier, and; respecting the diversity of our work force in actions, words and deeds.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Education and Experience:

Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to ten pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
