In Mobile, AL, 36608, our forklifts are the heartbeat of daily operations. We’re looking for a technician who thrives on mission-critical work—someone who treats each lift as a promise of safety, reliability, and performance.
Imagine This
An operator reports intermittent hydraulic drift. You confirm the complaint, validate pressures, trace the issue through the circuit, and resolve it with a targeted repair. Before the unit returns to service, you complete a full safety inspection, document findings, and coach the operator on prevention. That’s the impact you’ll have—every day.
Your Mission
- Execute preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on multiple forklift platforms.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic concerns and implement durable solutions.
- Perform safety inspections and verify compliance with applicable standards.
- Create and maintain precise maintenance and repair documentation.
- Work closely with teammates to improve workflow and operational efficiency.
- Source, order, and manage parts inventory to support timely repairs.
- Offer knowledgeable, friendly customer service and operator support.
What It Takes
- High school diploma or equivalent; mechanical trade certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience repairing forklifts or comparable industrial equipment.
- Strong command of mechanical systems, electrical diagnostics, and hydraulics.
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix complex machinery with confidence.
- Clear communicator who collaborates well in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and forklift certification.
- Flexibility to adjust your schedule when operations demand it.
