Job Summary Seeking a senior level Configuration Management/Quality Engineer to support the following weapon system manufacturing configuration management, quality, safety, and reliability related activities Roles and Responsibilities + Functional Configuration Audits + Physical Configuration Audits + Configuration Management audits + Drawing reviews + Technical documentation development and/or evaluation including requirements development and flow down, engineering drawings, specifications + Data Management + Program design reviews + Technical Scope of Work development + Independent technical reviews + Quality audits + Program safety analysis + Engineering Change Proposal review + Test planning + Test witnessing and analysis + Root cause and corrective action analysis Basic Qualifications + Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience + Active secret security clearance + Position has requirement for travel Preferred Qualifications + Experience with U.S. Army or other DoD programs a plus. Experience in electronics engineering and electronics manufacturing processes, production drawings desired. The individual should be detail oriented and fact driven. The individual must be familiar with requirements verification techniques, their tradeoffs, and criticality. The individual should understand how verification evolves with system development and the give and takes with qualification and re-qualification as the design evolves. Experience with MS Access is also desired. DoD, Configuration Management, Quality or Product Assurance experience: Quality engineering, quality management, reliability engineering, quality auditing, ISO9001, AS9102, AS9104, first article testing, or reliability experience a plus.
