Position Summary:
Bright Beginnings Learning Center at Providence is seeking a nurturing, dependable, and experienced Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants while ensuring compliance with Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) licensing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, responsive care to infants (6 weeks – 12 months)
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Follow all Alabama DHR Minimum Standards and center policies
- Ensure proper feeding, diapering, and sleeping routines
- Maintain accurate daily reports and communication with parents
- Monitor developmental milestones and support early learning
- Practice safe sleep guidelines at all times
- Supervise children closely to ensure safety and well-being
