Job Type: Part-Time (2:30 PM-6:30 PM) About the Role We are seeking a reliable and caring Childcare Teacher Part Time to support classrooms during afternoon and end-of-day routines. This role helps ensure a safe, organized, and nurturing environment for children while assisting teachers with daily activities, transitions, and classroom wrap-up procedures. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young learners , is flexible, and thrives in a supportive team environment . Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and routines .
- Supervise children during indoor play, outdoor activities, and transitions .
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment .
- Support teachers in preparing materials and setting up activities .
- Assist with closing procedures , including cleaning, organizing, and preparing classrooms for the next day.
- Provide coverage and support where needed to ensure smooth end-of-day operations .
- Collaborate with staff to maintain a positive and nurturing environment .
- High School Diploma or equivalent required .
- Experience working with young children or in a childcare setting preferred .
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills .
- Reliable, flexible, and able to assist in different classroom environments .
- Patient, supportive, and attentive when working with children.
- Experience in a childcare center, preschool, or daycare environment .
- Understanding of early childhood development and play-based learning .
- Ability to maintain structured routines and a calm environment .
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
