A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available at a K-12 school in Monroeville, AL, for the uping school year. This contract role involves serving a caseload of approximately 20 students, including providing resource support and instruction for one self-contained student. The position requires delivering both push-in and pull-out services to meet diverse student needs in inclusive and specialized settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support through push-in and pull-out service models.
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to promote academic growth.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive student support.
• Maintain accurate records and ply with state and federal special education regulations.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with K-12 students across various ability levels.
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 20 students.
• Skilled in providing both resource room services and self-contained instruction.
• Strong munication and collaboration skills.
