Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an impactful role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite contract opportunity is based near the dynamic Huntsville, AL area, with full-time hours amounting to 35 hours per week. You’ll play a vital part in enhancing communication and academic success for students in a collaborative school environment. Multiple openings are available, and specific caseload details will be shared at the interview stage.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Alabama as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Prior experience working in a school setting is highly valued
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
• Ability to adapt and support diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to students
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and regulatory standards
• Attend required meetings and contribute professionally to student support teams
