We are seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead and oversee concrete crews on civil construction projects throughout Central Alabama. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building box culverts, storm inlets, headwalls, and other concrete structures commonly used in civil infrastructure projects. Experience in bridge construction is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate concrete crews to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and technical drawings.
• Plan and schedule daily work activities, including formwork, placement, and finishing of concrete structures.
• Ensure proper materials, equipment, and manpower are available to meet project demands.
• Monitor quality control, safety standards, and compliance with project specifications.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
• Train and mentor crew members to ensure adherence to best practices and safety procedures.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of concrete construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/foreman role.
• Strong knowledge of box culvert, storm inlet, and related concrete structure construction methods.
• Experience with bridge-building projects is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with a focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to operate and coordinate heavy equipment and concrete tools when needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
