Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend requirement
• Option for 4x12 schedule available
• Float to like units as needed
• Possible charge nurse responsibilities as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:6 for adults and geriatrics population
• 30-minute lunch required with no skipped meals policy
• Must have 1+ years of nursing experience
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Level II trauma experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Alabama nursing license required
• Current BLS via AHA and Fit Test required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Skills required: IV starts, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac, MS/Tele, colostomy care and management, feeding tube care and management, blood product administration, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, heparin, insulin, PCA, surgical drains, nasal cannula, oxygen administration
• Must adhere to strict call-in policy
• Schedules cannot be adjusted once contract is confirmed
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Locals within 60-mile radius considered at reduced rate
• Non-billable orientation modules averaging 8 hours
