Loan Officer

RiverFall Credit Union is seeking an experienced and service-driven Loan Officer to join our team. In this role, you will help members achieve their financial goals by guiding them through the lending process with accuracy, professionalism, and care. Responsibilities include interviewing applicants, evaluating creditworthiness, processing loan applications, making sound lending decisions within established authority limits, and completing loan documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations as well as RiverFall’s internal underwriting standards. You will also have the opportunity to participate in community activities that contribute to the Credit Union’s mission of service, trust, and community engagement.

This is a full-time position with benefits. Compensation is competitive and will be based on the candidates experience, skill level, and proven lending background. Remote work is not available for this position.

Here's What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in lending (mortgage lending is preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of current lending regulations and guidelines
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and strategically prioritize
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain positive member relationships
• Previous experience at a financial institution required 
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Communications, Education, or a related field preferred
