Booker/Planner
HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE
As a Booker/Planner, you help ensure EWTN’s shows run smoothly by booking guests and coordinating with staff, departments, and outside organizations. Your work supports the production of live and taped programs and helps the network share engaging, faith-based content with its audience.
What You Will Do
You will book qualified guests for all live and taped programs produced in the Irondale studios, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the booking process. This includes building and maintaining strong professional relationships with guests, their teams, publishers, ministries, and other organizations, while continually expanding and stewarding a robust contact database.
In collaboration with producers and hosts, you will help manage show calendars and align guest selections with program themes and audience interests. You will coordinate closely with internal departments—including travel coordination, guest services, the friars, show teams, and EWTN Religious Catalogue—to ensure smooth communication and preparation. While facilitating the handoff to travel and production teams, you will remain available to address pre-production questions and time-sensitive scheduling needs.
About You
You are a practicing Catholic who understands the faith and its relationship to EWTN’s mission and programming goals. You bring at least three years of professional experience in media, production, communications, or a related field, or equivalent training and experience that translates to this role. A strong grasp of the types of guests and stories that resonate within the Catholic media landscape and networking within the Catholic community are a plus.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, you excel at managing multiple schedules and priorities with professionalism and discretion. You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and are confident representing the organization in a polished and engaging manner. Comfortable with Microsoft Office and database systems, you are adaptable, collaborative, and willing to maintain occasional flexibility outside standard business hours when necessary.
You hold a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, or a related field—or bring equivalent professional experience that demonstrates readiness for the role.
