Overview

NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for an IT Field Technician preferably based in Cheyenne or Torrington Wyoming . The IT Technician supports the Infrastructure division of NaphCare’s Information Technology group in maintaining in-house computer/server systems, desktops, and peripherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal performance.

**This is a fully remote position with the candidate preferably being located in Cheyenne, WY, Torrington, WY or close enough to be able to travel the entire state of Wyoming. This is a field position with travel up to 100%. Company vehicle provided for travel and expenses covered. The initial training period will be on-site in Las Vegas for 2 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Install, modify, image, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
• FIFO Inventory management including documentation, ordering, and shipping.
• Shipping and receiving of computers and associated parts.
• CAT5/6 data cabling and terminations would be helpful.
• Performs other related functions and duties as required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in supporting networking equipment, internet circuits, and troubleshooting related issues.
• General TCP/IP, Microsoft OS, Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Ability to logically troubleshoot in order to create innovative and practical solutions for problems as they arise.
• Ability to manage individual tasks and move projects towards known goals with minimal supervision.
• Communicate with end-users in order to provide support for systems.
• Associates or Bachelors degree in an IT Related Field of Study from an accredited institution preferred.
• High level of organizational and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
