Painter

We are seeking a skilled painter to prepare and paint steel structures, including bridges, dams, channel locks, and gates. The role involves mixing, prepping, and spraying paints using industrial equipment.

• Prepare metal surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and grinding.
• Mix and apply paints using industrial spray guns on large-scale metal surfaces.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform painting tasks in various environments, including bridges and structural steel projects.

• 5+ years of experience using industrial spray guns for large-scale metal surfaces.
• Proficiency in prepping metal surfaces, including sanding and priming.
• 5+ years of experience working in a paint booth environment.

• Experience in industrial or manufacturing painting settings.
• Ability to operate a paint booth.
• Skill in grinding metal surfaces to prepare for painting operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cordova, AL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
