With four openings—three in multi-needs units and one in a Behavioral Intervention Program (BIP) unit—you’ll have the chance to select the environment that matches your expertise and passion.
Bring your specialized skills and dedication to classrooms where you’ll support diverse learners, tailoring instruction to meet a range of educational needs. Caseloads are manageable, ranging from 10-16 students, ensuring you can provide focused, individualized attention to help every child thrive and grow.
Qualifications
• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience working with K-5th and/or 6-8th grade students
• Strong understanding of IEP implementation and special education law
• Ability to adapt and modify curriculum for multi-needs or behavioral support classrooms
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver differentiated instruction to meet differing abilities and learning styles
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and classroom teachers
• Provide guidance and structure in a multi-needs or BIP unit
• Track student progress and communicate updates to families and school teams
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
