The position requires close collaboration with Multi-Functional Teams (MFT) and stakeholders to ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal quality systems, and operational excellence.

  • Identify and report Key Characteristics (KCs) and Critical to Inspection (CTI) features, ensuring full traceability.
  • Contribute to risk reporting and support corrective/preventive action management.
  • Support problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives focused on process capability and quality performance.

Process Documentation

  • Create, update, and validate standard operating instructions (SOIs) and ensure alignment with manufacturing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain S-routings that define work centers, operations, resources, and standard times.
  • Create and maintain Master Inspection Characteristic (MICs) or equivalent documentation to support production processes.
  • Process and close change requests (e.g., Comsheets, action trackers) to keep documentation current.
  • Ensure all documentation is properly validated, version-controlled, and integrated into relevant systems (e.g., SAP, PLM, or equivalent).

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance

  • Work closely with Multi-Functional Teams (MFTs) to review and approve process risk controls and documentation.
  • Ensure consistency and compliance of all documentation with internal standards, customer requirements, and audit expectations.
  • Train and support operators, engineers, and quality teams in the use of Control Plans, SOIs, and inspection strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-8 years of experience in process engineering or quality engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Control Plans, PFMEA, inspection methods, and KC/CTI management.
  • Experience with process documentation systems such as routings, SOIs, and MICs (or equivalents).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, routings, and measurement standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications
