Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school in Pike Road, AL is seeking a skilled Behavior Specialist with Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) qualifications to join on a contract basis. This role focuses on supporting students with behavioral challenges by implementing effective behavior intervention plans and collaborating with educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Provide direct support and training to students using evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to monitor progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and data collection for behavior tracking.
- Assist in training school staff on behavior management strategies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Experience working in school settings as a Behavior Specialist or RBT.
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and data analysis skills.
