Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a licensed School Psychologist to provide specialized support for K-12 students within a school setting in Semmes, AL. This contract position offers a vital role in delivering psychological services, assessments, and interventions to enhance student well-being and academic success. This opportunity requires an active Alabama school psychology license and the ability to work collaboratively within school environments.

Location: Semmes, AL
Position Type: Contract (On-site)
Assignment Dates: March 23, 2025 May 29, 2026
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Student Age Group: Kindergarten through 12th grade
Caseload: To be determined; may include itinerant assignments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to support educational planning
• Develop and implement individualized interventions for students with diverse needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Participate in meetings and provide professional recommendations to enhance learning environments
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state regulations

Qualifications:

• Active Alabama school psychology license required
• Experience working with K-12 student populations
• Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and intervention development
• Ability to work on-site with flexibility for itinerant assignments
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
