The Cashiers 3PM TO 11PM role involves managing customer transactions and providing excellent service during the evening shift. Working within a small team of 1-3 cashiers, this position requires proficiency in handling cash and operating standard POS systems, including mobile payment technologies. The role reports directly to store management and offers opportunities for advancement based on defined performance criteria.
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service during transactions
- Handle cash accurately and securely
- Operate point of sale (POS) systems and mobile payment technologies
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization at checkout areas
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly
- Demonstrate thorough product knowledge
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in retail or cashiering
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in cash handling and POS systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with good time management
