- Understand the processing and execution of orders, setting up equipment and assigning routes to drivers
- Ensure we minimize the time it takes to dispatch to driver gate time.
- Eliminate inefficiencies in the dispatch process.
- Trace, track, and locate orders and delivery routes
- Initiate schedules and correspondences with drivers, operations, and customers
- Multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate with all levels of the business, always displaying trust and competency
- Ensure confidentiality of personal data
- Ensure completeness of check in and note any irregularities in returned orders
- Route incoming problem calls to proper resource
- Willingness to learn and advance as the job may expand
- Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
