Brown Inc. has a career opportunity available for an experienced and motivated mid-level Test Technician in our Huntsville AL location . Our three divisions Engineering and Test Technical Services and Mission Systems make DTB a diverse and interesting place to work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Interpret engineering drawings for fabrication and assembly of test fixtures
• Utilize tools and equipment required to assemble test fixtures
• Strain gage installation including interpreting drawings for location surface preparation bonding soldering and diagnostics
• Assemble hydraulic systems composed of hoses servo valves actuators and manifolds
• Interfaces with customers and the engineering team
• Perform and document inspections of work
• Travel as required within the continental US (on average 10 - 20%)
• Overtime and flexible shifts will be required during certain periods of a project

The ideal candidate will need:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma
• Min 3 years experience in mechanical structural and hydraulic equipment assembly and setup
• Aircraft structural testing experience is a plus.
• Mechanical hands-on technical training is a plus
• Must be able to work from engineering drawings tailored for test fixture assembly
• Must be experienced and resourceful in the use and operation of tools and equipment used to assemble steel fixturing
• Ability to work night shift
• US Citizenship Required
