Job Title: Aircraft Structures/Sheet Metal Technician

Overview

Aerotek Aviation is seeking experienced Aircraft Structures / Sheet Metal Technicians to join our team in Guntersville, AL . These technicians will perform modifications and installations on UH-60 aircraft as part of a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) government program. This role involves working on autopilot systems and glass cockpits , with the potential for long-term contracts and conversion to a direct position. Position Summary

As an Aircraft Structures / Sheet Metal Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Performing modifications and installations on UH-60 aircraft

• Working on autopilot systems and glass cockpits

• Utilizing sheet metal and airframe repair techniques

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings

• Ensuring high-quality standards in aircraft modifications

Schedule & Compensation

Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience

Shift: 1st Shift & 2nd Shift (Monday–Thursday, 10-hour days)

Overtime: Available as needed

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-5+ years of experience in aircraft structures

• Proficiency in modification and installation processes

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

• Experience in sheet metal repair and aircraft modification

• Experience with rotary-wing aircraft preferred (any platform experience considered)

• Must have own tools or be able to acquire them within the first few weeks of employment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $36.00/hr.
