Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Employment Coordinator for the Human Resources Department. The selected individual is primarily responsible for assisting in the search/recruitment, hiring, onboarding and exiting process of employees. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.

This is a full-time (36 to 40 hours per week) position.

Summary of Duties:

• Develop and maintain applicant sourcing pool; search for and recruit new employees
• Correspond with and answer inquiries from potential applicants; ensure a positive candidate/hiring manager experience
• Receive, screen, track and forward application documents to hiring managers; utilize applicant tracking system
• Schedule interviews; assist with reference checks and past employment verifications
• Coordinate background checks and other pre-employment screenings; process E-verify screening
• Lead employees through the onboarding, new-hire orientation and exiting processes
• Assist with the employee evaluation process
• Schedule in-house trainings and maintain training records; assist with coordinating employee events
• Cross-train in other areas of department to provide general department support

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; experience will be considered in lieu of degree
• Minimum two years related experience preferred
• Active member of the church of Christ
