RWC is building a cohort of interns for the Summer of 2026. This will be a challenging opportunity to build skills in your field and create connections with RWC and peers from other Universities.

Position Summary:

The primary objective of this position is to provide support to the Engineering team.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Assists with engineering design experiments, testing, and assembly of prototype products as requested
• Assists with Managing Daily Performance of Manufacturing Plants by implementing and testing Continuous Improvement Actions and Tasks
• Works to gain overall knowledge and proficiency with engineering tasks and processes
• Learn and understand systems and processes within a regulated industry
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Technicians with management and execution of projects
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

Education : Current or recent enrollment in an accredited Engineering or equivalent degree program

Competencies :

• The ability to prioritize tasks and focus on tasks until completed.
• Strong interpersonal skills – This is a team environment, and interns will likely get some direction from multiple team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Intern will be expected to present to cross functional groups occasionally and to create or modify engineering reports.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

• This position will be located in ­­­­­the Cullman, AL office and manufacturing facilities
• Interns are paid an hourly rate of $22
• Internship will have travel involved including a kick-off in Atlanta and Operations immersion week in Cullman, AL
