We are looking for an experienced HR Director to join our client's team in Tuskegee, Alabama. This is a Contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to lead human resources functions in a higher education setting. The role involves overseeing HR operations, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support a team of three HR professionals to ensure smooth departmental operations.

• Collaborate closely with the President and Chief of Staff, attending regular meetings to discuss organizational goals and strategies.

• Oversee benefits administration, ensuring employees receive accurate and timely support.

• Manage all aspects of employment processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and terminations.

• Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.

• Drive employee relations initiatives to foster a positive and productive work environment.

• Utilize PeopleAdmin and Microsoft Office 365 Suite to effectively manage HR systems and workflows.

• Provide leadership in compensation and benefits planning to align with institutional goals.

• Ensure HR compliance with higher education standards and legal requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.

• Proficiency in using Office 365 Suite and PeopleAdmin systems.

• Strong knowledge of employee relations, benefit functions, and HR compliance.

• Experience in managing compensation and benefits programs.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive personnel matters with discretion and professionalism.
