We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of shipments, supporting our commitment to excellent customer service and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including labels, bills of lading, and customs paperwork

- Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries

- Verify and inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness

- Maintain accurate records of shipped items and update inventory systems

- Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping regulations

- Assist in inventory management and stock organization

- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to resolve shipping issues

• Detail oriented.
• Requires little to no supervision
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
• Ability to enter data quickly and navigate computer based shipping systems.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to learn how to operate forklift.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Requirements:

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Computer proficiency required
• Two years shipping experience preferred but not required
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Fulfilment experience is a plus

FUNDAMENTAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receives completed job from rewind and ships to appropriate customer listed on the order.
• Works from Jobs Due Report for all departments to understand and plan shipments for a given day.
• Works closely with all personnel to facilitate the shipment of all jobs due.
• Pulls finished goods inventory releases and prepares for shipping.
• Reconcile at end of each day the Jobs Due Report
• Responsive - timely & appropriately to all company personnel, customers and vendors
• Project positive and professional behavior/attitude
• Utility Person will work where needed, doing various task working with hands, throughout facility.
• Additional tasks/duties/special projects may be assigned, as necessary

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee must regularly lift/or move up to 45 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 80 pounds
