VP of IT Security and Infrastructure
Qualis LLC is seeking a Vice President of IT Security and Infrastructure to oversee the technological infrastructure of an organization, managing IT strategies, and ensuring the alignment of technology with business goals. This position will report to the CFO.
Essential Duties
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. Provide technical leadership and guidance on software development and technology initiatives.
- Team Management: Lead and manage IT and Security teams, ensuring effective collaboration and motivation among staff.
- Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Work with CFO to prepare and manage the IT budget, forecasting requirements, and analyzing expenditures to meet financial objectives
- Technology Implementation: Identify and recommend new technologies, oversee the implementation of IT systems, and ensure optimal performance of existing systems. Ensure systems are compliant with government contract requirements.
- Risk Management: Establish and lead risk management and cybersecurity programs to protect the organization’s information assets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their technological needs and provide solutions that enhance operational efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Extensive experience in IT management, with a minimum of 15 years is essential to include supervisory experience. Proven success in complex technical environments is highly valued.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ is preferred
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are crucial. Candidates should have a solid technical background and experience with project management and IT systems
