Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with both CCC and school certification is needed for a K-12 educational setting in Heflin, AL. This contract position offers the opportunity to support students across all grade levels in developing and improving their communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students unique needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress and ensure effective communication strategies are integrated in the classroom
• Maintain accurate records of student assessments, progress, and treatment plans
• Provide ongoing consultation and recommendations for accommodating speech and language differences within the educational setting

Qualifications:

• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid School-Based SLP Certification
• Experience working within K-12 schools preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team

Position Type: Contract for the 2023-2024 school year (CSY)
