We’re searching for an energetic, relationship-driven Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager to join our award-winning team and help shape the next chapter of this iconic resort. What You’ll Do

• Drive Growth: Proactively identify, pursue, and close new group and catering business that fuels revenue and brand success.
• Build Connections: Cultivate strong client relationships through authentic engagement, exceptional communication, and thoughtful follow-through.
• Be the Brand: Represent The Grand at tradeshows, client events, and community functions—sharing the resort’s legacy of Southern hospitality with heart.
• Lead the Experience: Collaborate with Operations and Event Management to ensure flawless execution from proposal to post-event celebration.
• Stay Ahead: Monitor competitors, trends, and market dynamics to position The Grand as the premier Gulf Coast resort destination.
• Deliver Excellence: Leverage Marriott systems (CI/TY, Global Source, eTools) to streamline processes and elevate the guest and planner experience.

Who You Are

• A polished sales professional with proven success in hotel or resort sales , ideally within the Marriott family or other luxury brands.
• A creative strategist with a knack for storytelling and relationship-building.
• Organized, resourceful, and energized by achieving measurable goals.
• Experienced in group, transient, or catering sales, with contacts in key feeder markets (GA, TN, KY, OH, IN, IL).
• A natural ambassador who blends confidence with genuine care for guests and colleagues alike.
