JOB DESCRIPTION
REVELXP is currently looking for an experienced and delivery-minded individual to lead the execution of custom build projects that maximize space in indoor and outdoor venues. The Production Coordinator of Venue Solutions will have experience in the execution of projects, managing hourly staff, and participation in corporate best practices. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Venue Solutions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties to include, but not limited to the following:
Project Planning
- Work with the assigned Project Manager to execute production elements/tasks for a given project
- Coordinate necessary vendors for project installation and removals
Project Fulfillment
- Act as a Working Project Foreman for projects during construction in the field.
- Participate in pull and pack of equipment for specific projects at our Birmingham warehouse
- Participate in installation and removal of projects in a safe and timely manor
- Expense Management: tracking project related or assigned expenses to ensure they stay within budget
- Project Close-Outs: post event reports, expense audit and review with the Project Manager
- Ensure REVELxp standards are met and exceeded with respect to safety and treatment of clients and team members
Equipment Management and Maintenance
- Ensure equipment is installed and in good working order per the project requirements
- Audit condition of equipment once a project is complete to evaluate any maintenance needs
Travel Requirements
- This position will require frequent travel. Potential for multiple trips per month
- All expenses related to work travel will be covered by REVELxp
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT CANDIDATE?
- Effective communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Previous production, staging experience or construction
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Self-motivation that drives individual results while being a strong team player
- Possess a high energy, strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive “can-do” attitude
- Effectively communicate in verbal and written forms
- Ability to manage and coach various levels of team members
- Minimum two (2) years of applicable experience
- Already or willing to become heavy equipment operator certified (forklift, scissor lift, variable reach, 26’ box truck and a flatbed)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college/university or additional applicable experience beyond the minimum listed above
