Snelling is currently recruiting for a temporary Administrative Assistant for a local government agency dedicated to providing affordable housing in the Birmingham area. This position will support the finance department. The starting pay rate is $18.00–$20.00 per hour, with a first-shift schedule.

In this temporary position, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing administrative support to the Finance Department, including data entry, filing, and document management
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and presentations
• Handling inquiries and directing them to the appropriate team members
• Coordinating schedules and arranging meetings
• Performing other general office duties as needed

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

· Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under deadlines

· Prior experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a finance or accounting environment
