Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced 3rd shift Production Supervisor at our high-volume manufacturing plant in Summerdale, Alabama. Shift is from 10:30pm to 7am, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervise production employees, assign daily tasks, and track attendance
- Monitor production schedule and input daily production numbers
- Enforce safety and quality procedures
- Conduct safety training
- Resolve equipment issues - Report unresolved issues to the plant manager and maintenance team
- Ensure machinery is running efficiently
- Communicate regularly with Plant Manager regarding issues or suggestions for improvements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- 2 to 5 years working in a manufacturing setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership or team-lead role
- Forklift certified
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Above average problem-solving skills and a strong desire to learn
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Word
- Ability to lead a team and inspire
