Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide virtual services for schools. This role is 100% work from home, offering flexibility and the chance to support students remotely from any location. The position is classified as a 1099 contract.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-age children in a school setting
- Ability to provide virtual therapy services effectively
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and technology for remote sessions
Location:
- While the role supports schools located in Semmes, AL, it is fully remote and can be performed from any location.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech-language evaluations and therapy sessions with students
- Collaborate with school personnel, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as required
- Ensure high-quality service delivery in a virtual environment
