Take the next step in your career by supporting students during a crucial period as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a contract position for the first semester of school. This full-time opportunity is a maternity leave coverage role serving as a long-term substitute BCBA, offering you the chance to make a measurable impact in an educational setting. Working 35 hours each week, Monday through Friday, you'll collaborate with educators and provide expertise that helps transform the classroom experience for students.
Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Prior experience in a school-based or educational environment preferred
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to new settings
- Professionalism and reliability in a long-term substitute capacity
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop effective behavioral intervention strategies
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate successful student outcomes
- Train and coach school personnel in behavior management best practices
- Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure optimal results for students
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school policies and best practices
- Serve as a vital resource during the maternity leave period, supporting both students and staff
