Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Gadsden, Alabama, offering the chance to work in a school setting with travel required. This position is ideal for a licensed SLP holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who is committed to supporting students’ speech and language development.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Alabama SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience providing speech therapy services in schools
- Flexibility and willingness to travel as part of the role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide speech therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities related to speech-language pathology
Location and Schedule:
- Position located in Gadsden, Alabama
- Full-time schedule within a school district
- Travel within the region to various school sites as assigned
