Our team is passionate about horticulture and dedicated to helping our customers succeed in their gardening endeavors. Position Overview:
As a Garden Center Associate at Hilltop Farms and Market, you will play a vital role in assisting customers, maintaining the garden center's appearance, and ensuring the health and well-being of our plants. We are seeking individuals who are not only knowledgeable about gardening but also physically fit and capable of working in various weather conditions. Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with plant selection, gardening advice, and product recommendations.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the garden center.
- Water, fertilize, and care for plants to ensure their health and appearance.
- Assist with unloading and stocking plants and garden supplies.
- Lift and carry items weighing over 50lbs as needed.
- Work effectively in both hot and cold weather conditions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing over 50lbs.
- Comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions, including heat and cold.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
- Previous experience in a garden center or related field is a plus but not required.
- Must be willing to work weekends
